Because Google are updating the algorithm ‘frequently’ (and they will only continue to do this).

The SEO Process

Here is my ‘6 step SEO process’ explained to you concisely (so not to bore you) and clearly (so it makes sense to you).

1. Keyword research

SEO starts with great ‘keyword research’ and you can read more about my keyword research service and ‘process’ right here.

This ‘keyword research’ step also includes doing ‘market’ and ‘competitor’ research for your brand. Here, we identify your ‘money keywords’ that will bring you the highest return on investment.

2. Optimisation

Google ranks pages not websites. This means each page of your website can appear in Google, based on different ‘keywords’ searched by your target audience.

My job is to match the topic of keywords (from step 1: keyword research) to the intent of your target audience, searching in Google. Once ‘topic’ is matched with ‘intent’, then your website pages can be optimised.

3. Technical SEO issues

Maybe it is ‘slow’ loading pages, ‘broken’ links or ‘missing’ pages – whatever it is – there are thousands of ‘technical issues’ for your website than can prevent Google from crawling your site and badly impact user experience.

My job is to fix all your Technical SEO issues.

4. Create new content because content is king

Not only is content king but new content allows you to rank for more keywords and grow your business. Once you have created content right across your website, your next focus should be your ‘blog’, because it allows you to build a bigger, better and bolder brand.

5. Build links

Links are very important when it comes to SEO. They are valued by search engines (like Google) because they prove other websites are talking about you!

Links act as social proof (and effectively votes) that your website is ‘relevant’ and ‘high quality.’ Think of links as a popularity contest, but remember, you can only build links ‘ethically’ by creating useful, relevant and valuable content – and that’s what my SEO link building process is about.

6. Track progress, analyse results and make improvements

For your brand’s SEO efforts, I don’t only focus on what is working but what is not, and can we make it work in the future or not?
